The 3rd Annual “For the Love of Lindsey” Memorial Race will be quickly upon us! We have begun planning for another exciting event and look forward to seeing each of you at the starting line. Hello Everyone! As of midnight last evening the online registration process was closed. This has to be done to get all of our pre-registered participants names to our timing services (http://www.smileymiles.com/).
However, registration will continue on race day morning!!!!   Please arrive at 8:00AM to register for this race if you have not done so already. Cost is $20.00.

Our current number of pre-registered participants is: 210!!!!!!

Excited to see all of you there on Saturday morning!!  Weather looks to be PERFECT!!!  Compared to last year’s 92 degrees:)

The countdown had begun. We have a mere 17 days until Race Day arrives and currently I have 150 people registered for this event. Above is the new logo we will be using for the T-shirts.  Registration will remain open online until Wednesday, August 29, 2012. If you decide to participate following this date it will be greatly appreciated to register on Race Day morning. We will offer registration the morning of the race and you can come as early as 8:00AM to do so. Last year we had several people register the morning of the race so please plan accordingly and arrive early so we can get you registered and ready to start the race.

We are very excited to have each of you and to celebrate my sister’s life and continue to allow her passion for teaching affect others’  lives, even with her not on this earth.

Registration will be open until August 29th, 2012. After this time please register the morning of the Race. Last year we had close to 300 participants and want to make sure that registration runs as smooth as possible that morning if we have just as many people or more.

We are also suggesting that you register early for the early bird special of $15!!!!  In addition,  THE FIRST 500 PEOPLE TO REGISTER WILL GET A FREE T-SHIRT!!!

I have added a new page to the website with pictures from last year’s race. You can find them by going to the homepage and clicking the link at the top that says “2011-Race Day Memories”.  Please considering coming out this year to make it into our 2012-Race Day Memories album and archives.

Registration appears to be going well!!!  We already have a handful of people registered for the race this September! Be sure to claim your spot as well at the starting line. We are also holding meetings each month for those that wish to volunteer, participate in event planning, chair a committee, and decide on  giveaways, t-shirt design, etc. Our next meeting is on Monday, May 21st, 2012 at High Point Restaurant at 6:00PM!!  Hope to see many of you there!!!
